1. The CAP rounds are held online, allowing candidates to select and lock their preferred colleges.

i. Complete your registration through the official Maharashtra CET Cell portal.
ii. Upload required documents: MAH MBA CET scorecard, ID proof, academic mark sheets, category certificate (if applicable), domicile certificate, etc
iii. Complete document verification either online or by visiting the designated Facilitation Centre (FC)
iv. Pay the non-refundable counselling registration fee
i. The provisional merit list is announced based on your CET score and the documents you submitted
ii. Candidates can raise grievances or corrections during the specified window if any discrepancies are found
i. After addressing grievances, the final merit list is released.
ii. This list confirms your rank and eligibility for CAP rounds.
i. CET Cell publishes the seat matrix showing available seats by category and institute
ii. Use this information to prioritise and plan for option form filling
i. Fill in your preferred colleges and specialisations in the online option form
ii. Rearrange or edit choices before the final locking date
iii. Submit and lock your final choices

i. Candidates who weren’t allotted a seat or opted for Betterment can participate
ii. Enter new or revised preferences based on the latest available seat matrix
iii. Lock and submit the form before the deadline
i. Round 2 allotment is published based on new preferences.
ii. Download the new allotment letter and choose:
✅ Freeze – Finalise the seat and end participation.
🔁 Betterment – Opt to try for a better seat in next round (if available).
i. CET Cell announces the vacant seats list post Round 2
ii. Candidates use this information for final round planning.
i. Final opportunity for students to modify preferences or participate afresh
ii. Choose from remaining institutes/courses based on updated seat matrix
iii. Finalise and submit your option form within the specified deadline.
