About Exam :
INSTITUTE OF BANKING AND PERSONNEL SELECTION (IBPS) is a platform where aspirants get to test their talent by giving an exam for IBPS PO. The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) holds the IBPS PO Exam to select candidates for the position of Probationary Officers in various public sector banks in India.
Such as Dena Bank, Syndicate Bank, Punjab National Bank, Canara Bank, IDBI Bank and so on.
Eligibility Criteria :
Nationality / Citizenship:
A candidate must be either -
i) A Citizen of India or
ii) A subject of Nepal or
iii) A subject of Bhutan or
iv) A Tibetan Refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India or
v) A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India
Age: The minimum age limit for the candidates needs to be 20 years and a maximum 30 years.
Educational Qualification: One needs to be a graduate or equivalent to graduation in any discipline and graduation-appearing candidates can also apply for this exam. The only condition is at the time of interview round 1, one needs to have proof of clearing their graduation.
Age Relaxation:
The candidate needs to have a graduate degree no matter what stream they have achieved their graduation from but it needs to be from a recognized university.
