About SSC CHSL:
SSC CHSL is a national-level examination held by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) to hire professionals for various government departments/ministries such as LDC, Data Entry Operators, Junior Secretariat Assistants, etc. It is divided into two stages known as tiers. The SSC CHSL Tier I exam is a computer-based online exam that students must complete in 60 minutes. Tier 2 of the SSC CHSL exam consists of Objective Multiple Choice, Skill Test, and Typing Test.
Eligibility Criteria :
Nationality/ Citizenship:
A candidate must be either:
a. A citizen of India OR
b. A subject of Nepal OR
c. A subject of Bhutan
d. A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika & Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia & Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
Educational Qualifications :
For Data Entry Operator (DEO)/ DEO Grade ‘A in (C&AG): Candidates must have passed 12th Standard in Science stream with Mathematics as a subject from a recognized Board or equivalent.
For LDC/ JSA and DEO/ DEO Grade ‘A’ : Candidates must have passed 12th Standard or equivalent examination from a recognized Board or University.
Age Limit :
The age limit for the posts is 18-27 years.
Paper Pattern :
The Computer Based Examination will be conducted in two tiers as indicated below:

Tentative Exam Date: Tier 1 Exam is held in the month of August.
