About CMAT Exam

The Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) is a national-level entrance exam conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for admission into MBA and PGDM programs across AICTE-approved institutions in India. Renowned for assessing candidates' aptitude in Quantitative Techniques, Logical Reasoning, Language Comprehension, and General Awareness, CMAT serves as a gateway to some of the top B-schools in the country.

CMAT 2025 Exam Dates

CMAT 2025 exam will be conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) on January 25, 2025 for admission to some of the top MBA colleges in India. Registration process for CMAT exam 2025 started on November 14 and the last date to apply was December 13, 2024. However, the NTA has extended CMAT 2024 registration deadline till December 25, 2024. 

CMAT 2025 ELIGIBILITY

The candidate must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline. Candidates appearing for the final year of Bachelor’s Degree, whose result will be declared before commencement of admission for academic year 2025-26, can also apply for CMAT2025. 5.2 The candidate must be a citizen of India. 5.3 There is no age restriction for appearing in CMAT- 2025.

CMAT 2025 PAPER PATTERN

CMAT 2025 MARKING SCHEME

i) Each question carries 04 (four) marks.

ii) For each correct response, candidate will get 04 (four) marks.

iii) For each incorrect response, 01 (one) mark will be deducted from the total score.

iv) Un-answered/un-attempted will be given no marks.

v) To answer a question, the candidate needs to choose one option as correct option.

vi) However, after the process of Challenges of the Answer Key, in case there are multiple correct options or change in key, only those candidates who have attempted it correctly as per the revised Answer key will be awarded marks.

vii) In case a Question is dropped due to some technical error, full marks shall be given to all the candidates irrespective of the fact who have attempted it or not. 

CMAT 2025 SELECTION PROCESS

The CMAT admission process includes GD & PI rounds conducted individually by the CMAT participating institutes. After the declaration of the CMAT result, the NTA will have no role in the selection process. Based on the CMAT scores, the participating institutes will shortlist candidates for GD and PI. As per the CMAT admission process 2025, candidates shall comply with the selection procedure of the particular CMAT score accepting institute, which may comprise of Group Discussion (GD) and (GD) and Personal Interview (PI). The final selection of the candidate will be based on the candidate's performance in GD & PI rounds
