About MAT 2024 Exam:

AIMA (All India Management Association) administers the MAT, a nationwide examination. The MAT has been used as a screening exam for admission to management and related programs since 1988. There are about 20,000 candidates that show up for each of the four sessions that are held each year. Over 600 B-schools and management colleges in India are accepting MAT Score.

Compared to other management tests like CAT, XAT and others, MAT is less difficult. Prior to now, MAT was administered using PBT and CBT. In response to the COVID pandemic, Remote Proctored Internet-based mode (IBT) was developed in accordance with COVID regulations. Thus, candidates will be able to select from any of the modalities starting in 2020. Each session has its own unique set of dates.

MAT 2024 May Exam Dates:

EDUCATION QUALIFICATION:
To be eligible to take the MAT 2024 exam, a candidate must meet one of the following requirements: Completed Bachelor’s degree, or Professional degree completed, such as a CA, CS, or ICWA, or be in the final year of a bachelor's degree

PERCENTAGE OF MARKS:
The candidate's percentage of marks would be determined using the procedures that the relevant university or institution follows.

GRADES OR CGPA REQUIREMENT:
If grades or CGPA are required, the conversion to percentage of marks will be determined by the process that has been verified by the relevant university or institution in compliance with the MAT eligibility requirements of the participating management institute.

MINIMUM AGE:
There is no minimum age requirement to participate in MAT 2024 May to be eligible for MAT 2024. WORK EXPERIENCE: In MAT Exam Eligibility, there is no minimum work experience criteria. So you can apply for MAT Exam even if you don’t have work experience.

MAT 2024 Paper Pattern:

MAT has five sections, each with thirty questions. A total of 150 questions are to be attempted over 120 minutes.

MAT Selection Process and Participating Institutes 2024:

For MAT admission, candidates are required to select five MBA colleges while filling the MAT application form

The colleges accepting MAT scores accept candidates for MBA admission who meet the MAT cut off

The participating institutes shortlist students on the basis of parameters fixed by their admission committee

MAT selection procedure includes Group Discussion (GD), Personal Interview (PI) and Written Ability Test (WAT) conducted by the institutes individually

Students may not get a call from the institute of their preference if they do not meet the MAT cut off or selection criteria

Some of the MAT participating colleges offer admission to MAT qualifiers on the basis of exam score only. They do not conduct WAT/GD-PI

MAT 2024 Registration Fee:

The initial registration fee for the MAT exam is INR 2,100 for a single attempt.

Candidates can opt for an additional mode of test (e.g. IBT+IBT, PBT+CBT, IBT+PBT, IBT+CBT) by paying an extra fee of ₹1200/- in addition to ₹2100/-.

The retake fees for the MAT exam is INR 1,650.

The last day to schedule an exam is 10 days prior to the exam day.

Candidates can reschedule their exam date and/or test center for a fee of INR 1,100.

Candidates can cancel their exam registration and receive a refund of INR 1,000 if they cancel more than 15 days before the exam date.

Candidates who cancel their exam registration less than 15 days before the exam date will not receive a refund.

Candidates who do not show up for their scheduled exam will not receive a refund.
