Candidates need to fulfil the below-mentioned eligibility criteria in order to appear for NMIMS LAT 2026

• Candidates should pass Class 12 or equivalent from a recognized board in any stream with at least 50 per cent aggregate.


• Candidates who have passed Class 12 from International Baccalaureate (IB) board should be either IB certificate/ & DP awarded with minimum 24 total credits having passed 3 HL and 3 SL mandatorily from any stream.


• In case, the marksheet issued by the relevant board is in percentile, the actual aggregate percentage of all the subjects in which the candidate has appeared will be taken into consideration.


• Candidates who are ungraded/failed in any subject mentioned in the marksheet are not eligible to apply for the exam.


• Candidates appearing for the final Class 12 exams are also eligible to apply. However, such candidates will need to fulfil the above criteria within the given stipulated time.
