According to the official SLAT marking scheme

• There is no negative marking in the exam for wrong answers.


• Candidates will be awarded one mark for each correct answer.

There are three stages in the SLAT 2025 Admission Process. The following are the stages:-

• Aptitude Test- First, the students must qualify the SLAT 2025 exam, to qualify the aptitude test the students have to clear the SLAT cutoffs set for the year 2025.


• Written Ability Test (WAT)- Once the students have cleared the aptitude test, the students get shortlisted for the WAT. In the WAT round, the candidate is given a topic on which he/she has to write certain number of words. This round tests your writing skills, command on language, your subject knowledge, etc.


• Personal Interview- The candidates who qualify the WAT round gets qualified for the final round, i.e., the Personal Interview (PI) round. PI tests your communication, confidence, general awareness, persuasion skills, and subject knowledge. The student who qualify all the three rounds of the SLAT Admission Process gets admitted into Symbiosis Law School (SLS).
