ABOUT JIPMAT 2026

The Joint Integrated Programme in Management Admission Test (JIPMAT) is a national-level entrance exam administered by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for admission to the 5-year Integrated Programme in Management at IIM Bodh Gaya and IIM Jammu. The official announcement for JIPMAT 2025 is likely to be made available soon on the official website. The examination is expected to take place in May 2025. The JIPMAT 2025 test is an undergraduate level assessment for the 5-Year Integrated Programme in Management.

JIPMAT 2026 Eligibility


The eligibility requirements for the JIPMAT 2026 exam include the following:

  • General category candidates' birth dates must be on or after August 1, 2003.

  • For SC/ST/PwD applicants, the birth date must be on or after August 1, 1998.

  • students must have completed the 10+2 examination or an equivalent qualification from a recognized board with at least 60% marks (55% for SC/ST/PwD students).

  • Additionally, students who are scheduled to take the 10+2 test or its equivalent in 2026 are eligible to apply.

JIPMAT 2026 SELECTION PROCESS


  • The admission to IPM would be ONLY on the basis of Joint Integrated Program Admission Test (JIPMAT 2026) . The exam will be conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) on behalf of IIM Bodh Gaya and IIM Jammu.

  • Stage I: Online Registration (i) Interested applicants who fulfill the eligibility criteria should submit their application online as outlined in the application procedure. (ii) A non-refundable registration fee will be required during the application submission.

  • Stage II: Entrance Exam (i) Admission to the IPM program will be through the Joint IPM Admission Test (JIPMAT 2026), conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) on behalf of IIM Bodh Gaya and IIM Jammu. IIM Bodh Gaya may also explore joint examination options with other IIMs offering the IPM program. (ii) The exam will assess the candidate's aptitude across various sections.

  • Stage III: Merit List Preparation (i) The marks obtained in the JIPMAT 2026 will be used to prepare the merit list. Candidates who score more than or equal to the category-wise sectional percentile 30 will be eligible for the Merit List. (ii) Government of India rules for reservation in admission will apply to SC, ST, NC-OBC, EWS, and PwD categories. (iii) 70% of seats are gender-neutral. In case the optimal number of girls in various reservation categories is not met within the gender-neutral pool, the remaining 30% of seats will be a combination of gender-neutral and supernumerary girls (SNG) seats to promote a healthy gender ratio on campus while maintaining merit as the primary consideration. (iv) Sectional raw scores will be subject to minimum qualifying requirements, decided after the results based on the available pool of candidates.
