ABOUT SET GENERAL 2027

Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET) is conducted by Symbiosis International (Deemed University) for admission to Symbiosis institutes. The SET exam is a gateway for admission in a Bachelor of computer application course. The SET exam application form, admit card and results will be available online only and there will be no provision for an offline application process.

SET GENERAL 2027 ELIGIBILITY

The following is the SET eligibility criteria 2027:

  • The aspirant must have cleared Class 12 or equivalent examinations in the relevant streams from a recognised board or university with a minimum 50% aggregate (45% for SC/ST category students).
  • Candidates in Class 12 or awaiting their Class 12 results are also eligible to apply, but they will have to submit a passing certificate.
  • Students who wish to opt for Honours with Research must earn 7.5 CGPA and above at the end of Semester-6.

Marking Scheme

  • +1 for every correct answer
  • No negative marking


SET GENERAL 2027 SELECTION PROCESS

The counselling process through SET will be conducted in various colleges accepting SET scores. Candidates appearing for SET 2027 are required to apply to the SET-accepting colleges during the application process.

The counselling rounds of the SET exam 2027 include a Written Ability Test and a Personal Interview. Candidates are required to fill out the registration form for the participating Symbiosis Institutes after the announcement of results and cut-off marks.

Selection of Students

Students will be selected and called for further admission process based on the scores obtained by them in the SET exam. Students will be informed about the SET cutoff and they will be able to check if they meet the cutoff criteria.

Written Ability Test and Personal Interview

The WAT and PI schedule is announced by the individual institutes. Students can appear for the WAT/PI at the allotted venue and they will be judged on various criteria such as:

  • General awareness
  • Extracurricular activities
  • Academics
  • Candidate-specific fields of interest
  • Communication skills
  • Overall personality

Final Selection

Each candidate will be evaluated based on their SET 2027 score, WAT/PI performance, academic history and other parameters for preparing the final merit list. Selected applicants will be called to complete the admission formalities.



SET GENERAL 2027 REGISTRATION FEE

  • The candidates have to apply for the SET exam by filling the SET 2027 application form, which will be available online on the official website.
  • They need to register on the SET website as new users. On successful registration, the candidates will get access to the application form.
  • Payment of the application fee of INR 2,250 has to be made online only through net banking or credit/debit card.
