Maharashtra Common Entrance Test for Undergraduate Degree Course, MHCET, is an entrance exam conducted for admission to professional courses in Bachelors of Computer Applications (BCA), Bachelors of Business Administration (BBA), Business Management Studies (BMS), Bachelor of Business Management (BBM), Integrated MBA and Integrated MCA. State Common Entrance Test Cell, Mumbai, is the exam conducting body for the MHCET exam.

The MHCET eligibility criteria is the minimum set of requirements to appear for the exam.
Candidates must have passed Class 12 or equivalent
Candidates should have secured at least 50% aggregate or equivalent CGPA
Candidates appearing for the Class 12 examination or awaiting results are also eligible to appear for the exam.

CET Cell Maharashtra will conduct the counselling process in online mode through Centralised Admission Portal (CAP). Aspirants who qualify the entrance exam will have to register online for MHCET CAP round. Based on the marks obtained in the entrance exam, the authorities will release the merit list. Aspirants listed will have to submit their preferred course and college within the specified time. Based on the choice filling, College seat allocation will be done. The participating institutes will release individual cutoffs based on each round of counselling that will be conducted.
