Step-by-Step AILET 2026 Counselling Process

  • Counselling Registration: The AILET 2026 counselling window opens soon after the announcement of results. Candidates falling under the category-wise merit lists published by NLU-D must register on the portal.

  • Counselling Registration Fee: Applicants must pay a non-refundable fee of ₹30,000 for General and J&K migrant/resident candidates. However, those from reserved categories receive a concession and need to pay ₹20,000.

  • Seat Allotment List: NLU Delhi will release the AILET 2026 allotment lists, displaying the names, AIR rankings, and scores of selected candidates.

  • Seat Confirmation: Candidates must provisionally confirm their admission by submitting an additional ₹50,000 as the seat confirmation fee. This amount will later be adjusted against the total admission fee, along with the initial counselling registration fee.
