LIC AAO 2024 ELIGIBILITY:


Candidates must ensure that they fulfil all the LIC AAO eligibility criteria 2024 before applying for the exam. The eligibility conditions are the minimum conditions that need to be achieved by the candidates to be eligible to appear for the LIC AAO exam. Candidate must have attained the age of 21 and must not exceed the age of 30 years. Following age relaxation is provided to the reserved category candidates:

LIC AAO Eligibility 2024: Educational Qualifications

Since there are functionally different positions notified under the umbrella exam of LIC AAO, the educational qualifications required for all the posts are different. The required post-wise LIC AAO educational qualifications are given below:


For AAO (Generalist): Graduation degree in any discipline.


  • For AAO (IT):
    Bachelor's degree in Engineering in Computer Science, IT or Electronics, or an MCA, or an MSc (Computer Science). For AAO (Chartered Accountant) Bachelor’s degree from a recognised Indian University/Institution and candidate should have passed the final examination of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and completed articles as presented by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. The candidate should be an Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. Candidates need to provide their membership number and it will be verified with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.

  • AAO (Actuarial):
    Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized Indian University/Institution and candidates should have compulsorily passed papers CT1 and CT5 plus four or more other papers of the examination conducted by the Institute of Actuaries of India/Institute and Faculty of Actuaries, UK (Total six or more papers) as on the date of eligibility. Candidates should provide their membership number and the same will be verified with the Institute of Actuaries of India / Institute and Faculty of Actuaries, UK.

  • For AAO (Rajbhasha):
    Master’s degree in Hindi/Hindi translation with English as one of the subjects at the Bachelor’s degree level or Post Graduate Master’s degree in English with Hindi as one of the subjects at the Bachelor’s degree level or Post Graduate Master’s degree in Sanskrit with English and Hindi as subjects at Bachelor’s degree level.


LIC AAO 2024 PAPER PATTERN:


The LIC AAO Prelims and Mains exams will be conducted online mode. The LIC AAO exam is going to have three stages, namely,

  • Preliminary Exam (or Phase 1)
  • Main Exam (or Phase 2)
  • Interview

LIC AAO Exam Pattern For Prelims

  • The total duration of the online written exam will be 1 hour or 60 minutes.
  • 0.25 marks will be deducted if a candidate attempts a question wrong.
  • Preliminary Examination (Phase 1) will be an objective test conducted via online mode
  • English Language Test will be of qualifying nature & marks in the Language section

LIC AAO 2024 MARKING SYSTEM:


  • LIC AAO's main exam consists of Objective Test (300 marks) & Descriptive Test (25 marks).

  • Both exams will be conducted online mode.

  • The descriptive exam will be through typing on the computer.

  • There will be a negative marking of ¼ mark for each wrong answer.


LIC AAO 2024 SELECTION PROCESS:


The LIC AAO exam is conducted in three stages. Following are the stages in the LIC AAO exam:

  • Preliminary Examination

  • Main Exam

The selection process comprises the following steps:

LIC AAO Notification

The notification marks the beginning of the LIC recruitment process. LIC AAO notification is the most important document as it provides all the information regarding the important dates, eligibility criteria, age limit, exam centres and the likes. The candidates must read the official notification to get all the important details before filling the application form.


LIC AAO Application Form

LIC Application link is activated after the release of notification. The candidates need to register on the official website and after registration, they can fill the application form. The candidates need to submit the application fee (according to their category) and submit the form.


LIC AAO Admit Card

LIC AAO Admit Card is released to all the registered candidates whose applications were accepted by the exam conducting authority. As per the notification, it is released ten days before the exam date


LIC AAO Prelims Exam

LIC AAO Exam is conducted online as the Computer Base Test (CBT). The exam is conducted at the national level at the designated exam centres. The candidates need to reach the exam centre one hour before the exam begins and follow all the instructions provided with the admit card.


LIC AAO Result

LIC AAO Result is declared after the evaluation of all the exam copies. The LIC AAO Result is declared separately for each stage of the exam.


LIC AAO Main Exam

The candidates who qualify for the prelims exam are called for the LIC AAO Main Exam. It comprises two parts - objective and descriptive paper. Descriptive papers of only those candidates will be evaluated who qualify in the objective paper of the main examination.


LIC AAO Interview

The candidates who clear the main exam are called for the interview. The interviews are conducted at the designated offices of LIC. Along with the interview, the document verification process is also carried out.


LIC AAO Result

After the interview, LIC releases the final result and call the candidates appointment.



LIC AAO 2024 REGISTRATION FEE:


Candidates are required to pay an application fee of Rs. 700/- after filling out the application form. The fee can be paid online through internet banking, Debit/Credit Card, UPI, or any other payment method provided by the board.
