LIC AAO 2024 ELIGIBILITY
Candidates must ensure that they fulfil all the LIC AAO eligibility criteria 2024 before applying for the exam. The eligibility conditions are the minimum conditions that need to be achieved by the candidates to be eligible to appear for the LIC AAO exam. Have a look at the LIC AAO eligibility 2024 below in terms of age limit, age limit relaxation and educational qualifications.
Candidate must have attained the age of 21 and must not exceed the age of 30 years. Following age relaxation is provided to the reserved category candidates:

Since there are functionally different positions notified under the umbrella exam of LIC AAO, the educational qualifications required for all the posts are different. The required post-wise LIC AAO educational qualifications are given below:
A. For AAO (Generalist): Graduation degree in any discipline.
B. For AAO (IT): Bachelor's degree in Engineering in Computer Science, IT or Electronics, or an MCA, or an MSc (Computer Science).
C. For AAO (Chartered Accountant): Bachelor’s degree from a recognised Indian University/Institution and candidate should have passed the final examination of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and completed articles as presented by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
The candidate should be an Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. Candidates need to provide their membership number and it will be verified with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
D. For AAO (Actuarial): Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized Indian University/Institution and candidates should have compulsorily passed papers CT1 and CT5 plus four or more other papers of the examination conducted by the Institute of Actuaries of India/Institute and Faculty of Actuaries, UK (Total six or more papers) as on the date of eligibility.
Candidates should provide their membership number and the same will be verified with the Institute of Actuaries of India / Institute and Faculty of Actuaries, UK.
E. For AAO (Rajbhasha): Master’s degree in Hindi/Hindi translation with English as one of the subjects at the Bachelor’s degree level
or
Post Graduate Master’s degree in English with Hindi as one of the subjects at the Bachelor’s degree level
or
Post Graduate Master’s degree in Sanskrit with English and Hindi as subjects at Bachelor’s degree level.
LIC AAO 2024 PAPER PATTERN
The LIC AAO Prelims and Mains exams will be conducted online mode. The LIC AAO exam is going to have three stages, namely,
1. Preliminary Exam (or Phase 1) 2. Main Exam (or Phase 2) 3. Interview
LIC AAO Exam Pattern For Prelims
The total duration of the online written exam will be 1 hour or 60 minutes.
0.25 marks will be deducted if a candidate attempts a question wrong.
Preliminary Examination (Phase 1) will be an objective test conducted via online mode
English Language Test will be of qualifying nature & marks in the Language section
LIC AAO Exam Pattern For Mains
Candidates appearing in the prelim exam will be shortlisted for the main examination.
LIC AAO’s main exam consists of Objective Test (300 marks) & Descriptive Test (25 marks).
Both exams will be conducted online mode.
The descriptive exam will be through typing on the computer.
There will be a negative marking of ¼ mark for each wrong answer
