ABOUT IBPS CLERK 2024

The IBPS Clerk exam is conducted every year by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection to recruit clerical posts in 11 public sector banks nationwide. All the public sector banks use CRP as a base to fill the vacancies for this post. IBPS will conduct the Clerk exam for the 14th year for FY 2024-25 and hence named IBPS Clerk CRP XIV. The IBPS Clerk exam is conducted on two levels- the preliminary exam and the mains. Students qualifying in both these exams are thus selected for the post. IBPS Clerk Prelims Exam for the candidates who have applied for the released vacancies this year will be conducted on 24th, 25th and 31st August 2024.

IBPS CLERK 2024 ELIGIBILITY

Candidates, intending to apply for CRP Clerks-XIV should ensure that they fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria specified by IBPS in this notification. Candidates may please note that the eligibility criteria specified is the basic criteria for appointment to the aforesaid posts in the Participating Banks. However merely applying for, qualifying in the CRP and getting provisionally allotted in one of the Participating Banks does not imply that a candidate will necessarily be eligible for employment in any of the Participating Banks. It is expressly clarified that the ultimate authority for recruitment is the Participating Bank itself. The Participating Bank concerned may, in its sole discretion, reject the candidature of anyone provisionally allotted to it through the CRP.

Nationality / Citizenship: A candidate must be either - (i) a Citizen of India or (ii) a subject of Nepal or (iii) a subject of Bhutan or (iv) a Tibetan Refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India or (v) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India, provided that a candidate belonging to categories (ii), (iii), (iv) & (v) above shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India
