Schedule on : 18 Jul, 2026
The Maharashtra CET Cell has released the CAP schedule for MCA admissions 2026-27. If you want a seat in a Government, Government-Aided, University-Managed or Unaided Private MCA college in Maharashtra, here's everything you need to know — registration dates, document verification, merit list, all 4 CAP rounds, and fees — explained simply.
You need to register online at www.mahacet.org and upload your documents. While registering, you'll be asked to pick one of two ways to get your documents checked:
E-Scrutiny – Fully online. Upload your documents and a center verifies them remotely. You don't need to visit anywhere in person.
Physical Scrutiny – Visit your nearest Scrutiny/Facilitation Centre with your original documents for in-person verification.
Choose carefully — you can't switch between the two once selected.

FOR JAMMU & KASHMIR / LADAKH MIGRANT CANDIDATES
FEES YOU SHOULD KNOW ABOUT
Registration fee: Free if you already gave MAH-MCA-CET 2026. Only NRI/OCI/PIO, children of Indian workers in Gulf countries, and Foreign National candidates need to pay — ₹1,500 (General/Open) or ₹1,300 (Reserved category/PWD/Orphan/Transgender).
Seat acceptance fee: ₹1,000 for everyone, paid only once when you first accept a seat. It's non-refundable.
Reserved category candidates: if you don't have your caste/tribe/EWS certificate yet and submitted only a receipt, you'll need to pay an extra ₹200 at verification.
THINGS TO KEEP IN MIND
Once you submit your Option Form (preferences) for a round, you cannot change or cancel it.
If you're claiming a reserved category seat, submit your original Caste/Tribe Validity or Non-Creamy Layer or EWS certificate by the end of CAP Round 4 — otherwise your admission gets cancelled automatically and you'll be shifted to the Open category (if eligible).
Your admission is only "confirmed" once your college physically verifies your documents and issues a receipt — not just after seat allotment.
Verification centres are open all days (even weekends), 10:00 AM to 5:30 PM.
